Established in 1928, the Department of Youth Ministries was born from a burden to reach out to America’s young people with a Pentecostal message.  Thus, the name Pentecostal Young People’s Association (PYPA) was adopted to be the official name of the Youth Department.  For over seventy years, the PYPA’s impacted thousands of lives, seeing many saved, filled with the Holy Ghost, and called into the ministry as a direct result of youth camps and youth rallies.  In 1999, the name PYPA was changed to Pentecostal Church of God Youth Ministries, and in 2008 Impact Youth Ministries was adopted as the new name.  Though the name has changed, the mission remains the same.

Over the years, the Arkansas District Youth Department has been blessed with great leaders, many of which have become National Youth Directors and even General Bishops.

After its first eighty years, the youth department continues to see change and expansion of ministries, such as Bible Quiz, Teen Talent Expo, Married Couples Retreat, Refuel, Summer & Winter Youth Camp, Youth Rallies, Missions Trips, and District Choir Tours.
