To receive Minister's Credentials with the Arkansas District Pentecostal Church of God, the following three step process must be completed.



Step One: Application

Contact the Sectional Presbyter for your area.  The presbyter will tell you of the proper forms you will need to complete an Application with the appropriate supplemental forms. This application differs depending on your circumstances. New applicants must complete the Application for Minister's Credentials. Previous applicants must complete the Application for Reinstatement. Current Applicants desiring promotion must complete the Application for Promotion. The following forms must be included with your application:  Additional forms for Arkansas District Pentecostal Church of God are necessary that are not included in the download section and must be obtained from your Sectional Presbyter.

Applications must be reviewed and signed your local pastor and sectional presbyter then delivered to the ARKANSAS district. 


Step Two:  Processing Fees

* Credential Fee - $25.00 for the first month
* Background Check Fee - $25.00

These  processing fees are required to begin the credentialing process and must be sent in the form of a check or money order with the application and supplemental forms. All checks must be made out to the Arkansas District Pentecostal Church of God. Other fees required throughout the process are subject to change. 

The Minister's Credentials are provided in three levels--Exhorter, License, and Ordination. Below are the requirements for each level.

Exhorter Credentials

* Basic Bible Truth
* General Constitution & Bylaws
* District Constitution & Bylaws

License Credentials


* Old Testament Survey I
* Old Testament Survey II
* New Testament Survey
* Basic Homiletics
* Basic Bible Truth (if not completed for Exhorter status)
* General Constitution & Bylaws (if not completed for Exhorter status)
    (Not necessary with a B.A. in Biblical Studies or Pastoral Ministry.)


 Ordination


* Understanding Teaching                                                                   
* How to Prepare Bible Messages
* What the Bible Says About the Holy Spirit
* Prevision of History
* Developing the Leader Within You
    (Not necessary with a B.A. in Biblical Studies or Pastoral Ministry.)
